Bev
is a mother of of two girls and lives in West Porpoise Bay in Sechelt
B.C. with her husband John. Bev became involved with Linwood House
Ministries in 2005 and has a heart for hurting women & various
causes on the Sunshine Coast.
Bev volunteers much of her time and enjoys sharing Gods love with
others who she comes in contact with along life's way.
John Mckenzie
John
is a father of two teenage daughters and husband to Bev for the past 17
years.
John is a realtor/ businessman who feels blessed by God. He trys to
make a difference in the workplace where he can. John strives to show
Gods love and compassion in the world in which he moves in.
John Nelson
John is married to Elizabeth and they have served together in
Christian ministry for over 50 years with The Salvation Army in four continents
of the world. In retirement, the Board of Linwood House
Ministries has given John an opportunity to draw from his years of
experience to help contribute to the effective development of the Board and the
growing ministry of Linwood House Ministries in Canada and around the
world. Praise God!
Dr. Eve Stringham
Eve is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at Trinity Western University. She has a passion for mentoring young people, especially women and those who are under-privileged, and is the co-founder of “Science in the Valley”, a non-profit organization that offers science workshops to elementary school children. Eve is married to Peter Durovic, who has provided legal counsel to the marginalized. They live in Maple Ridge with their children Peter and Michaela, and dog Jackie. In her spare time, Eve loves to sing and is an active member of St. George’s Anglican Church in Maple Ridge.
